Does the Infiniti g37 feel like a sports car?

Do you feel like you are driving a sports car when you drive it or does it drive too smoothly?|||Nope, it's just a touring car. If you want a sports car, buy a Ferrari . |||God no. It drives like crap. If you want something that drives stiffly, get a Porsche. If you want a sports car, get a real sports car. This thing is like a soggy middle ground fallback plan for when you realize you can't afford an actual luxury vehicle.

I've driven the G37 and G35 (of all variants) and can soundly say that it is a fad car. The engine doesn't have the oomph to satisfy anyone with real discerning taste. Drive an AMG for five minutes and you'll be yearning for a completely different class of cars. Sure, the G35/37 is reasonably good bang for your buck but it depreciates poorly and leaves a lot to be desired (like a real back seat, trunk space, visibilty, ride smoothness, less bling-appeal, leather that doesn't crack in three years, dash components that don't crack or break, etc.).|||To the poster above - YOu feel like you overpaid for the car? How about you tell me another car that's as equiped as the G, and performes as well, and costs the same?

Certain people buy the G thinking because it's an Infiniti that it would be a smooth ride. It's not a smooth ride, it's actually on the hard side.

No, I don't consider it a sports car. It is not as honed as say a 350Z...it is a GT car.|||I have the 08 Infiniti G37 6MT sport coupe %26amp; YES it feels like a sports car. It's fast in my opinion. But I just turn 18, so i really wouldn't know much. I love it personally. Smoothness has nothing to do with it if you ask me.|||I've heard amazing things from people that own this car, and good things from automotive magazine's. But I'd get the G37-S for the sports feel!!|||I have it... and to be honest, I feel that I over-paid for this piece of crap. I should've bought an Accord.
