I just bought the Infiniti G37 and while it mentions that songs can be stored in the music box, I'm unable to store mp3 format files. Is there anyway mp3 format files can be stored?|||It depends, does your G37 coupe or sedan come equipped with the (X package, Premium Package)?? If so then you should be able to download and record music with the Infiniti G37 sedans 9.3GB Music Box. If you have a Base model or Journey model you will not be able to store music in the Music Box. I have the 2009 Infiniti G37 (journey) sedan so correct me if im wrong, I am not completley positive and fimilair on the revisions they have done with the G sedan packages. I do know that the standard 2010 Journey package now comes equipped with a Back-up camera while in the 2009 models you had to opt for the Navi package (Premium Package) in order to get it. I believe that there are two ways to store music onto the G37 sedans Music box. Their should be a Flash drive or Music card where you can take out and download music directly from your computer, if not then once your ipod has been connected to your G37, scan the setting on the screen and search for the Music Box icon and Record/transfer the music from you Ipod.|||The short answer is no. The 2010 Music Box stores the info as a digital file, but you can only load it using an audio CD format.
If having MP3's available is what you're after, the 2010 USB port will play MP3's. Get a 4BG one and leave it plugged in.
