Is an Infiniti G37 worth the extra money over the G35?

Looking for a used car under $25,000, fun to drive, good looking, and maybe luxurious. Maybe other suggestions?|||In general, the G37 will be newer; when a G37 came out, the G35 in the same body style was discontinued.

Either one will serve you well, though; it's as close as Japan ever got to building a proper 3-series Bimmer.|||Jim is completely incorrect and I highly doubt he owned both if he is being biased toward the BMW. I am a family owner of a 2009 Infiniti G37 sedan %26amp; a 2007 BMW 328i coupe. I have had a lot of experience with both German and Japanese luxury brands. Every car portrays a different personality with a charismatic sense of athleticism, some more than others. However I will say that the overall ownership experience of the Infiniti has been far more superior then that of the BMW. I love my 328i, I haven鈥檛 had any major issues other than the run flat tires which are constantly giving me a headache %26amp; a couple bulbs that keep fusing out. My $0 care free maintenance 4 year/ 50K mile factory warranty just expired a little over a month ago so I'll be expecting to pay around $135 an oil change opposed to the $79 oil change on the G37. The BMW handles remarkably well and its overall driving dynamics is something to be praised for however in terms of it being a luxury sports car it is merely not as fun to drive as the G37 in my opinion. My 328i composes a 3.0 litter 230 HP engine while the G37 has a potent 3.7 328 HP engine or in your case the G35 has a 3.5 litter 306 HP engine making the impressive power of the G more than enough to quench your thirst, not to mention it is the class leader amongst all its rivals in terms of standard horsepower. We purchased the Infiniti because it鈥檚 truly the only manufacturer on the market that has been able to come to par with the excellent driving dynamics of a BMW, it handles great and it has everything the BMW has to offer only the best part is the reliability of an Infiniti is far more superior then that of the BMW which is sad to say because it is an amazing german machine. The interior of the 328i is refined and well layed out but admittedly it is a very balnd and outdated looking cabin without the appeal of the Infiniti in terms of luxury %26amp; modern standards. Out of all the entry level luxury sedans that rival the G37 has come to par in my opinion with the BMW. I would suggest the Infiniti, it鈥檚 a great car and I love driving it when I get the chance. I love my 3 series as it is my daily driver but I鈥檓 going to have to point you in the direction of the Infiniti. It鈥檚 quickly become the main alternative to German luxury. The 2007-2008 G35 sedan is essentially the same exact vehicle as the 2009-2011 G37, both have the same bodt frame design and platform. The only difference is that the G37 sedan has a larger displacement engine at a 3.7 litter V6 opposed to the 3.5 litter V6 in the G35.|||Id skip the g37 and get a bimmer! I had both and the g is like a wanna be bmw. Get a 3 and keep it up maintenance wise.
