What car is a better buy, the Infiniti G37 sedan or the Lexus IS 350?

I'm in the market for an entry level luxury sedan. I'm having a hard time choosing between the Infiniti or the Lexus. I also will need to put a child seat in the back row.|||Both your picks are more "sport" luxuy sedans than luxury sedans. Rear wheel drive is standard on both, the IS 350 is not available any other way.

For all weather handling - the most important feature to me if I'm frequently driving my child - I want front wheel drive, or better yet, AWD. I'd have to say the G37, provided you get the AWD option.

If you don't get the AWD - frankly, neither.

Get something that's available in AWD - the G37, (a Lexus IS 250 would be too small for you) or front wheel drive at least (Lexus ES 350 maybe).|||This is a tough choice.

The Infiniti is more of a sport sedan, with better handling, more power, and a higher fun factor than the Lexus. Plus, if you want it, All-Wheel Drive is available.

The Lexus is more luxurious and has a softer ride than the Infiniti, and is still a semi-sporty sedan. Also, I think it looks better, but that's entirely up to your tastes. All-Wheel Drive is available, but only if you downsize to the IS 250 with the 2.5 Litre V-6. Odds are, this will also be the nicer vehicle for your wife and child (or children) to ride in.

Gas mileage, interior and exterior dimensions, and other technical data are nearly identical, safety is close between the two (they're both rated high), and both start north of $35,000. Styling inside and out is entirely up to you and which one you prefer.

If you're considering one of these models, also consider these:

BMW 335D

BMW 335I

Cadillac CTS DI

Mercedes-Benz C350

The above models are all similar in size to the Infiniti and the Lexus, are offered with Rear-Wheel Drive and optional All-Wheel Drive, and start around $35,000-$40,000, like the Infiniti and Lexus. The BMW 335D is diesel-powered, but has performance equal to that of the standard gas-powered model with much better gas mileage and reliability.

If you're after an All-Wheel Drive model, you could also throw in these models which are based on Front-Wheel Drive platforms, but offer All-Wheel Drive:

Acura TL SH-AWD

Audi A4 V-6 Quattro

Lincoln Mark Z AWD

Volvo S60 T5 AWD

I hope this has answered your question. If you have any more, please feel free to ask.|||The Infiniti G37 is better. Better warranty, mileage, bigger car, lower price. See http://www.diffen.com/difference/2009_In… and click on Differences at the top. It'll show you just what is different between these cars and you can then score them on the different attributes.|||Hi! I think putting a child seat in Lexus IS 350 will be a real challenge so Infiniti G37 is a better choice.

You choose what to buy, but avoid buying a “lemon” car. If you are buying a used car, get it thoroughly checked by a mechanic. It would be better to spend a little amount before you make the final purchase rather than spending a huge amount on fixing it after buying a lemon. Also make sure that the vehicle is under warranty.|||out of the two, g37 is better by far...

but i'd have a go in a bmw 335 or 330 or 328 before you make up your mind on these two. the bmw is the original car, the infiniti and lexus are just oriental copies of the original.

some say that the g37(copy) is actually much better. others say that the bmw is amazing to drive, and wouldn't have anything else.

test drive them both (bmw and g37) before making your decision. i'd get the bmw with a manual, but the g37 with an automatic.

good luck!|||It all depends on your taste on what you are looking for in a car. If you sporty then the G37 is your car. If you like luxury and comfort like me I would go with the Lexus IS 350. If you car about resell value the Lexus brand is better. The Infiniti is usually stick and the Lexus is usually auto. I prefer auto. I you like to race then the Infiiniti is the one.|||Infiniti G37. And resale value for a brand as a whole has no real effect on flagship models, where the G37 will actually hold its value better than the IS350. It's also quicker, has more features, and its more sophisticated. Its engine is the strongpoint; the VQ37DE, or rather the whole VQ-series in particular, is one of the most highly-regarded engines ever.|||the INFINITI G37 it is better looking and more faster!(some girls like that):) um mm...so ya infinitit.|||G37 is definitely NOT better looking than the IS 350. I would get the lexus|||lexus IS 350..

cheers

Nitsy..|||This is a easy one...........LEXUS for sure.....its well known and easy to sell or trade in the futher....
