What do you expect from the infiniti g37?

will it be worht the price?

will it be built nicely and durable? (i.e. will it be in the shop every month?)

is it made out to be better than it really will be?

will it be a huge success for infiniti?

what other coupes compare to it?|||In my opinion....

The G37 is worth the price, to get that same level of performance in a luxury coupe, you'd most likely to have to spend more money. The BMW 335i and Mercedes CLK500 come to mind, and those are all significantly more expensive.

I've previously owned a G35 coupe, and never once was it in the shop for any repairs.

As for it being nicer than it really is...well it depends on the buyer. Some people buy the G thinking it will be a smooth, soft ride...they're in for a shock. The G37 is a sports/gt car, and the priority is handling and performance...not a comfortable ride. If you guy the G knowing the ride will be hard because it's a performance car, and buying the G for it's performance....you won't be disappointed. If you buy it because it looks nice, and think the Infiniti badge means soft luxury ride...you will be in for a shock.|||I have the G37S (has a stiffer suspension that the standard G37), and while I must agree with you that it is a very stiff suspension, even with the sport suspension it is a very comfortable ride. How stiff the suspension is is not the only determining factor in how smooth the car rides.

|||think it is a bit expensive, it will be durable, but it is an incredible machine. the first G35 couple had such great lines everyone loved it. The look of this vehicle is a bit more subdued. think it only competition is the BMW 335 - the BMW is much more expensive so i imagine alot of folks will opt for the G37 - plus the tech on the g37 is nice. It is a decent coupe ( not as fast as the sedan tho !!! go figure... )|||This car is the new new king of sport/lux coupes. The BMW 335i was the premier lux coupe on the road until Infiniti re-did the G. The G37 is only slightly slower than the BMW, but it costs substantially less.

Only problem I have heard is the road noise. The Detroit News auto review gave it 3.5 out of 4 stars. And only the road noise kept if from being 4 stars. But, that does not bother me. I think it is more a sports car than it is a lux car. I would expect some road noise from a sports car.

I am buying one.|||It just looks too much like the new Altima coupe.

I own a couple g35s, one being a coupe, and was awaiting th 37's arrival until I saw how similar it was to it's Altima cousin.

It goes from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and has a top speed limited to 155mph. The real top speed is around 165mph.

It will compete with the Audi A5/S5 and the BMW 335i Coupes.

The G37 already won in a comparison test against the BMW 335i because it had a better value and was sligtly more fun to drive. The G37 shares the same chassis with the Nissan 350z and Altima Coupe.|||I don't think it will do that great.... especially with the new R35 GTR coming out.... nobody is talking about the G anymore. It's a nice car though, especially considering that not everyone can afford the $70k skyline.
